The MAPID Network
The full title of the project is “Capacity Building of Migrants’ Associations in Italy and Spain and Government Institutions in the Philippines to Promote Development.” The short title of the project is "Migrants’ Associations and Philippine Institutions for Development" (MAPID). It is co-financed by the European Union through the Aeneas Programme (Financial and technical assistance to third countries in the field of migration and asylum), Contract No. MIG R/2007/130-548(11).
Action Center for Overseas Filipino Workers and Their Families

The Bannuar Ti La Union (Heroes of La Union) is a province-wide federation of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), return migrants and their families which was formed with the support of the Kanlungan Center Foundation, Inc. One of the key programs of the Bannuar chapters is to set up an action center in their localities to provide assistance to distressed OFWs, provide counseling, and support livelihood projects. Best for Women Program

Several organizations banded together to carry out a comprehensive project aimed at improving the lives of families – with a special focus on women – in the Anislag resettlement area in Daraga, Albay. The Best for Women Program aims to promote social justice, equity and women empowerment by fostering women’s economic independence and greater participation in local governance. To meet this goal, the program consists of the following components: capacity building (which includes skills training, entrepreneurship and financial literacy), awareness raising on the rights of women and children, and advocacy to prevent violence against women and children and preventing trafficking.
Calangcas Aguman Capampangan

It is an association which aims to give bags of food and groceries to poor families in the Philippines every 24th day of December so they can have the traditional noche buena on Christmas Eve. Thus, there is a spirit of giving to families so they do not feel abandoned and forgotten. The association aims not only to spread joy on Christmas but also to provide long term help in their economic situation.
