As a member of the Philippine Migrants Rights Watch, SMC collaborates in the organization of an annual capacity building seminar for workers and volunteers of the member NGOs.

The 2009 edition of the PMRW Capacity Building Seminar was held on 13-14 August at the Cristina Villas Hotel and Resort, Antipolo, Philippines.

The program entails the following activities:

• 21 August:
  • Team building & Leadership Training
  • Unstoppable speaking


• 22 August:
  • New issues in the advocacy for migrants
  • Building a website for an NGO
