The Federal Government will consider visa extensions for Egyptians due to leave Australia in light of the political turmoil in their home country.

The Federal Government today urged Egyptians whose temporary visas were close to expiring to contact the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) to discuss their options.
